Specialisation:

Lawrence has a broad range of general commercial and corporate litigation experience spanning two decades in New Zealand, Asia and the UK. His practice includes employment, residential and commercial property disputes, interim and injunctive relief, and construction litigation. Lawrence has also advised a number of high profile domestic and international companies on large and complex commercial disputes including acting for Asea Brown Boveri, CDL Hotels NZ Ltd and Malaysia Airlines.

Lawrence works closely with the office of the South African Consul in Auckland and advises numerous South Africans.

In recent times Lawrence has developed a practice in construction industry litigation particularly disputes involving the 'leaky building' crisis affecting many residential and commercial property owners in New Zealand.  His clients in this area include Body Corporate Administration, one of the largest multi-unit dwelling property management companies in the country.

In his practice Lawrence promotes a focus on providing value to the client by achieving the client's desired result in a cost effective and efficient manner.  He believes if you take something on - do it well or don't take it on at all

Lawrence is a Past President and member of the Auckland Malaysian Society and he maintains close links with the Malaysian community here and in Malaysia.
