Background:
Alan joined Corban Revell as a solicitor in January 1995. He was subsequently appointed a family law partner of the firm and was Managing Partner from 2001 to 2006.
Specialisation:
Alan has specialized in family for over 15 years. He is responsible for all forms of family law including relationship property and child care arrangements. He has been appointed as Lawyer for Child and is appointed by the Courts as a senior lawyer for child. He is also appointed as Counsel to Assist in matters concerning welfare guardians and property managers for adult persons at risk.
Outside CR:
Beyond his involvement in community law centres and advising at Citizens Advice Bureaux for a number of years, Alan has presented papers at a number of national and international law conferences and has chaired national law conferences.
In 2006, Alan published a novel, Gravity’s Chain, with Harper Collins and he is currently working on a further novel.
