A New Direction

A New Direction

James Fong joined Corban Revell in July 2007 in the Maori Commercial Team, working closely with Partner John Kahukiwa on various matters including Treaty of Waitangi Claims.  

James has decided to leave Corban Revell to pursue a career in accounting with an eye to completing a Bachelor of Commerce. He will be joining the team at Ernst & Young as a consultant.

As a part of this move into the accounting sector James has decided not to continue practicing law.

We would like to wish James well in his career and the new path he has taken into the corporate sector.  We would also like to direct clients who have ongoing Treaty or Commercial matters to contact Eddie Bluegum, Maori Commercial Solicitor.

Blair Strang joined Corban Revell in April 2008 and practiced Family Law under the mentorship and guidance of Alan Goodwin.  

Before coming to Corban Revell Blair ran the Maori Law Academic Tutorial Programme at the Faculty of Law of Auckland University and is a talented actor with an impressive portfolio which includes live theatre, film and television.

Blair leaves Corban Revell to pursue his love of acting, filming a feature drama with Maori Television in Christchurch.

We would like to wish Blair well in his acting career and continued practice in law. We would also like to direct clients who have ongoing family matters to contact Mark Tolich, Consultant and Senior Family Solicitor.

Frank Chan joins Corban Revell Lawyers as a Solicitor in the Property Team.

Frank joined the Property / Commercial team of Corban Revell in March 2009. Prior to this he obtained a wide variety of experience over seven years of practice at Buddle Findlay, McVeagh Fleming and Morgan Coakle.

Frank provides support to Lisa Roberts and advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters, with particular emphasis on both commercial and residential property. He also has valuable experience acting for financial institutions, local government, and infrastructure.  Frank can also provide advice on trusts and wills.

Good Luck to Delamare Kopu-Gleeson

Corban Revell said a sad farewell to Delamare Kopu-Gleeson in December 2008.

Delamare was a long standing member of staff beginning her career as the administrator in the family team and working her way to a Registered Legal Executive in the property team.

She left Corban Revell to take the position as Practice Manager of a prestigious boutique Barristers Chambers in Ponsonby.

We would like to wish Delamare well on her continued career in law.
